Biomechanical Examination
A biomechanical examination in a complex assessment of the pelvis, lower limbs and feet. This is conducted weight bearing and non-weight bearing. Testing includes, joint range of motions, prioprioception (balance), muscle strength and alignment for the feet and lower limb.
The examination allows the podiatrist to arrive at an accurate diagnosis of the complaint and prescribe the appropriate treatment/rehabilitation plan.
